
X-182 Jan. 30, 2019 (Philippines) DPAA Honorable Carry
Part of Norton’s unidentified remains were designated X-182 and eventually buried at what is now the Manila American Cemetery and Memorial in the Philippines. They were disinterred in January 2019 and transported with honorable carry to the DPAA Laboratory for analysis.
“An honorable carry is a ceremony that pays tribute to the Unknown service members who are returning to American soil for the first time since their conflict-related death” – DPAA.
